I am committed to being at the forefront of dental education and technology. I have focused my continuing education on developing the skills to provide world class smile makeovers and implant dentistry.
It’s an intimate experience getting to work on someone else’s teeth. I want my patients to feel a collective ownership of White Space Dental, what we offer, and the impact it can make on their lives. White Space Dental is a space for everyone.
Dr Cassandra Wee

With more than a decade of experience, Dr Cassandra is on a mission to change the way people experience the dentist. She’s well-versed in all dental services, including dental implants, and she has a special interest in Invisalign and smile makeovers.
Passionate about modern dentistry, Dr Cassandra employs the latest techniques available at White Space Dental, guaranteeing the best for her patients. With a friendly demeanor, she’ll guide you through appointments with comfort and expertise.
Originally from Australia, Dr Cassandra has traveled and lived around the world, but she loves Australia and always knew she would return home.
Dr Iain Gavan
Dentist
Dr. Iain Gavan delivers modern dental care with a focus on calm, compassionate, and empathetic treatments. He values building long-term relationships with patients and has worked at prestigious practices in Balmain, Ballarat, and Melbourne.
Dedicated to ongoing professional development, Dr. Gavan completed the Master Implant Program at the Brenner Institute in Sydney and earned a Diploma in Digital Orthodontics, specialising in clear aligners like Invisalign. He also trained at the renowned Kois Institute in Seattle, known for world-class evidence-based dentistry.
Originally from North West England, Dr. Gavan graduated from Leeds University and gained valuable experience in Manchester’s Maxillofacial Department before moving to Australia in 2014. Now an Australian citizen, he enjoys time with his 3-year-old daughter and his dog, Murphy.
Amanda Thomson
Oral Health Therapist
Amanda is originally from NZ, where she gained her Oral Health Therapist degree in 2012. She has a great passion for the dental industry and her point of difference is in providing the ultimate patient experience, where she excels.
Amanda brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to White Space Dental, providing the very best care and treatment to her patients, including deep cleans, maintenance of gum disease, Children’s dentistry and Invisalign support services.
Dr Laura and Amanda have been great friends for more than 10 years, making it extra special working together as a team.
Kathryn Anderson
Dental Hygienist
Kat is our dental hygienist. She is a breath of fresh air and a very caring soul, who is passionate about her job and her patients.
Kat specialises in maintaining your gum health and helping with all orthodontic treatments.
She has over 10 years of experience working in Australia and overseas. Kat is a northern beaches local and loves the outdoors and traveling.

Carissa is originally from NZ and has lived on the beautiful Northern Beaches for over 10 years.
Carissa is always warm, friendly and up for a laugh and a chat. All things organisation, Carissa is our star!
Mandy Mastnak
Dental Assistant
The lovely Mandy is originally from Germany and has made the Northern Beaches her new home. Although she may look young, Mandy has many years’ experience as a dental assistant. She will be by your side to make you feel comfortable at all times.

Anna is originally from the northern beaches. She loves to travel and was a top-level ballet dancer.

Annie is a local Northern Beaches girl who has always been interested in dentistry. After leaving school, she decided to give dental assisting a try – fast forward a few years and she’s discovered a true passion for it! She loves the variety her job brings and finds joy in every day.
